In the row data (files *.log), loggers always works with UTC to have always the same reference. So you can make correlations and checks with other towers because all of them have the same reference.
don’t mind the country, the time zone, etc.
Moreover, when you check the data there are a lot of uncertainties because someone (user o logger) is appling (or not) the offset time in the data. However, if you are sure that always the logger works in UTC time, you can make the conversion when you want and you are sure about your reference.
In the decoded files (*.wnd), you can apply the offset you want (and you can change a posteriori).
But it’s important to have the same reference in row data for all your loggers around the world.
