The K124PB serves as a battery charge controller with a special focus on maximizing battery lifespan and charging efficiency. It can be powered either by a solar panel or a DC regulated power supply. When connected to a solar panel, the regulator employs a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm, ensuring optimal system efficiency and maximum power output.
The two LEDs on the regulator show the charging progress and indicate when the battery is fully charged.

Additionally, the regulator includes an algorithm designed to recover deeply discharged batteries. Upon powering up, if the battery voltage falls below a specified level, the regulator activates this algorithm for a duration of 30 minutes.
