This version, the P2546A-OPR, contains a reed switch activated by magnets mounted on the rotating shaft. This produces a switching output signal with frequency proportional to wind speed.

We also offer the P2546C-OPR coil version click here for more information on this version.

P2546-OPR features

  • One-piece rotor anemometer head
  • Durable construction with anodized aluminum and stainless steel
  • Low threshold speed
  • Short distance constant
  • Negligible overspeeding
  • Angular response independent of wind speed
  • Fully tested temperature performance
  • Symmetrical geometry
  • No external power source

The cup anemometer is supplied with a Measnet calibration certificate and is fully compatible with all the data loggers manufactured by Kintech Engineering including the EOL Zenith and Orbit 360.
